We want you to be happy with your Trailside purchase. If something isn’t right, we offer a simple return policy.

Because we are a small independent company, returns carry real costs. We appreciate customers reviewing product details carefully before ordering.

Returns

Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Include all original packaging
  • Not show signs of wear, washing, damage, or use

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Return Authorisation Required

All returns must be approved in advance.

Items sent back without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for the return

We will provide instructions on where to send the return.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

If your order qualified for free shipping (for example orders over $100) and items are returned that bring the order total below the free shipping threshold, the actual shipping cost originally paid by Trailside Equipment Co. may be deducted from the refund.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can resolve the issue quickly.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Used products
  • Items returned after the 14-day return window
